If you have lost power during the Cyclone Event, and it has not automatically restored, check your Meter Box, or Mail Box as ENERGEX may have put an information brochure to let you know what needs to be done. If your house, or area has been unindated by flooding, or major damage, you may need to contact a Electrical Contractor to Test, then either restore your power or submit the Test Results to ENERGEX for them to restore. If you have some power on, but not all power is working within your home. Check the Meterbox for Tripped Breaker Switches. If there are tripped breakers, chances are you have damage, or water ingress into your electrical system. Look for any extension leads, plugs or equipment that is in water or out in the weather. This could be your water tank pump, grey water system. physically unplug the items then try and reset the Switch/s in your meter box. If it trips again, you may need to contact a Electrical Contractor to Help. Always be cautious when dealing with Electrical Appliances, or items that have become wet.
